Presentation To The Larnaca Rotary Club

In November 2013 the Kalaydjian Foundation’s chairman, Mr. Roupen Kalaydjian, made a special presentation about the Foundation to members of the Rotary Club of Larnaca. During his speech, Mr. Kalaydjian gave a brief outline of the history of the Foundation and explained the reasons behind its creation. He then described in detail its current activities and highlighted the role the Kalaydjian Rest Home for the Elderly plays in providing senior citizens, both Armenian Cypriot and Greek Cypriot, with quality care and comfort. He also made specific reference to the Foundation’s educational programmes and provided details about the various grants and scholarships that are offered to talented students.

At the end of the presentation, the president of the Rotary Club, Mr. Tasos Coucounis, thanked Mr. Kalaydjian for his speech and expressed his admiration for the Kalaydjian Foundation’s work and achievements.



The Kalaydjian Foundation is a non-profit benevolent organisation set up in 1984 with the purpose of helping disadvantaged and needy members of society, with a major focus being on the Armenian community in Cyprus. In addition to providing vital services to senior citizens and financial support to talented students, the Foundation also promotes and sponsors the development of culture and the arts in Cyprus.
