AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF ARMENIA STARTS RECRUITMENT FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2010-2011 AND OPENS APPLICATION PROCESS FOR ARMENIAN CYPRIOT STUDENTS

The Kalaydjian Foundation is pleased to give notice that the American University of Armenia (AUA) has now started its recruitment for the academic year 2010-2011. Therefore any Armenian Cypriot who is interested in applying for a scholarship from the Kalaydjian Foundation to study for a Master's degree at the AUA should contact the Foundation in order to receive an application form and information relating to the scholarship.

The American University of Armenia is a US-accredited educational institution affiliated with the University of California and is located in Yerevan. AUA's academic programme provides English-language graduate education in Business and Management (MBA), Industrial Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies, Political Science, Health Sciences and Law.

Since its inception in 1991, it has provided advanced education to around 2,000 Armenians from all over the world. A major advantage is the fact that enrolled students from the diaspora live in the safe and beautiful city of Yerevan and make vital contacts and life-long friendships in their ancestral homeland.

The Kalaydjian Foundation currently provides a scholarship to any Armenian Cypriot student whose application is accepted by the AUA. The Foundation’s scholarship covers the entire cost of tuition over two years. The deadline for applications is 5th April 2010. Interested parties should contact the Kalaydjian Foundation at r.kalaydjian@cytanet.com.cy or contact Mr. Hagop Kasparian on 99233453.

More information on the AUA can be received at www.aua.am.
